Mount Pleasant Phase 3

McAller & Rushe, Farringdon

The Project
Mount Pleasant Phase 3 is part of the larger mixed-use ‘Postmark’ development, transforming the historic site of the Royal Mail Mount Pleasant sorting office into a modern residential area. The project consists of 370 mixed-tenure residential units across five blocks ranging from 6 to 15 stories, designed to meet BREEAM Very Good and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 standards.

The Challenge
The complex substructures due to underground postal rail tunnels and the large-scale residential development required precise coordination and advanced construction techniques. Additionally, the need to meet stringent sustainability criteria presented a challenge.

The Solution
CPS provided specialised cleaning services tailored to the high standards required for both residential and commercial spaces. Advanced techniques were employed to handle the delicate glass façades and the interiors, ensuring that each unit met the expectations of modern urban living. The project also involved detailed attention to maintaining cleanliness in challenging substructure areas and public realms.

The Outcome
CPS’s work on Mount Pleasant Phase 3 highlights their ability to handle complex urban development projects. The successful completion of the cleaning tasks ensured that the development was presented in pristine condition, ready to welcome residents and businesses. This project underscores CPS’s expertise in delivering high-quality results in challenging and large-scale environments.
