West Hendon – Barratt

The project transforms the former West Hendon Estate into a sustainable mixed-tenure neighbourhood of over 2,000 new homes, supported by high-quality public realm, green spaces and community infrastructure. Outdated post-war housing is replaced with well-connected contemporary homes arranged around landscaped streets and parks, taking advantage of the waterside setting of the Welsh Harp Reservoir. The masterplan includes a new primary school, community centre, improved walking and cycling routes, retail and commercial spaces, and better transport connections, creating a distinctive North London neighbourhood that supports social, economic and environmental wellbeing.
